Some of my favorites from the Steelers vs. Chargers game.
Pitt vs WVU at Acrisure Stadium…. It was wild in more ways then one.
I had a great time at Ford Field yesterday, even if it was only a preseason game.
Both teams must be hiding their offensive playbook, because we didn’t see much from either team. Regardless, we’re one step closer to the regular season.
It was great to be back on the sideline again this fall. Let’s hope the 2024 NFL season is entertaining and that the Lions win the Super Bowl. Of course, the Steelers can do well, just not beat my Lions.
I got a chance to catch up with lots of peers and friends on the sideline. Hard to believe this is my 13th season covering the Steelers as part of the media.
I’m still trying to recover from the 4 action packed days, sun up to sun down, covering this event. Here are a few track side photos from the Grand Prix on Sunday.
Here are a couple of photos of beautiful Pittsburgh this spring, prior to the floods hitting the city this week. Thankfully, the flood caused material damage and I don’t think anyone was hurt.
Here are the photos I held back. Brad identified this composition and I copied him….
Pittsburgh has a number of the bridges and buildings lit up green for St. Patrick’s day weekend. I met Brad out for sunrise this morning and captured a few photos. I got a few I really liked, but Brad identified the composition, so I’ll save posting those photos for later to let him post them first. I assume he’ll do that so. In the mean time, here is a more tradition photo composition of the 6th Street Bridge.
More big quarterback news today with the announcement that Kirk Cousins is joining the Atlanta Falcons. I took these photos of Kirk in 2021 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
We all learned in the last 24 hours that Russell Wilson will become a Pittsburgh Steelers player for the 2024-2025 season. Time will tell whether this is a good fit for the team, but it is certainly a cheap option.
I took this photo at the end Seahawks-Steelers game back in 2019. It’ll be interesting seeing these two working together.
On one of our cruises, I captured these photos of the fairly new Carnival Dream (new at that time) via my drone. They’ve been sitting here on my computer waiting for their time to shine…. Well, shine away…..
This little condo complex in the Mexican Riviera is a nice little spot for a vacation.
After covering a Steelers road game in Cincinnati a while back, the following morning before driving back to Pittsburgh, @jakemysliwczykphoto and I captured some Cincinnati cityscape photographs. Now you get to enjoy some of them.
It seems like forever since I’ve been to the west coast. I enjoy San Francisco, but I’m not sure how safe it is anymore. I guess like anywhere else, you have to be careful and watch your surroundings.
Regardless, I’d like to visit SF again at somepoint soon.
This beautiful little telescope was sitting outside the Breisacher Munster St. Stephan cathedral. The cathedral sits up on a cliff looking down on the town of Breisach Germany and the Rhine River with France on the other side.
Throw back the very beginning of COVID. Just as COVID was hitting the U.S., but before we knew what it meant and how it would impact us all, a group of us went to Gary Indiana to photograph abandoned buildings. One of the spots we visited, was the City Methodists Church… a beautiful spot.
My posting frequency has been very poor lately and I’m sure no one has noticed. If you did, I’m sorry. Here are a couple photos from a past trip to Mexico. Great sunrises on all of our Mexico trips…..
At the May 2023 FIA F1 Miami Grand Prix, Jason and I witnessed something unusual. We saw Lewis Hamilton stand out in the open, which he never does, for a very long time talking to a Ferrari official. At the time, he was negotiating a contract extension with Mercedes. The rumors seemed to suggest that the negotiations did not produce the results Lewis wanted. Plus, the Mercedes car wasn’t performing at a level to compete with Red Bull.
I captured these photos of Lewis walking in front of the Ferrari team facility and with the Ferrari team official. You can also see a video that Jason and I recorded speculating at that time about Lewis sending a message to Mercedes and potentially leaving them for Ferrari. VIDEO HERE
