Stafford to Abdullah

Another NFL throwback for you.  Here is a photo I took at Ford Field in 2018 of Matthew Stafford handing the ball to Ameer Abdullah.  I don’t remember for sure, but I think my Lions lost this game.  Not that the Lions losing is an unusual event.

Hayden

The football season is done for me.  My Lions never came close to the playoffs and the Steelers got knocked out at the last second.  So I’m watching the games on TV like most of America.  Are you looking forward to the games tomorrow?  I’m ready!!  I’m probably the only person outside of Boston rooting for Brady.  I’d like to see him win Super Bowl #6……  Since I’m talking football, here is a random photo I took of Joe Hayden.  I love his facial expression and tattoo.

Handoff

I had a great time in Detroit at the Lions vs. Steelers game last Sunday.  As you can imagine, I took a ton of photos….more than I normally would at a Steelers game.  Most of the photos focused on capturing Detroit Lions players.  Tonight, I’m sharing this photo of Matthew Stafford (#9) handing the ball to Ameer Abdullah (#21).  I love the intensity on Stafford’s face.  I also liked the Lions’ uniforms…blue tops on blue bottoms.  What do you think?  Leave a comment below.

Ezekiel Elliott

I don’t know what his career will look like down the road, but his rookie year started off very good and I was impressed.  I enjoyed watching him play against the Steelers and wish he were on my Lions’ team.  They haven’t had a good running back since Barry.

Fisher Body Plant - Assembly Line

We had a great time visiting family in the Detroit area over the Thanksgiving weekend.  While we were there, Blair and I made good use of some free time to photograph some abandoned spots.

To my surprise, we were not the only ones with this idea.  We hit three spots on Friday morning and ran into others doing the same thing.  In fact, when we showed up to the Fisher Body Plant, there were probably 20 other photographers already in the facility.

This photo is from the assembly line on the upper floor.    We probably spent a little over an hour in this building, but we could have stayed all day because it is huge.
