AB's Departure

Well its official.  Antonio Brown is being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Oakland Raiders.  He’s taking his extremely good football skills and over-heated ego to the west coast.  He was also quick with his giant smile.  It was fun watching him play over the last seven years while I covered the team.  I wish him the best.

Last Sunday night’s game was enjoyable, at least for me.  The weather was warm (for December), there was a lot of action, high scoring, and I didn’t get hurt.  I only have a couple more home games to cover before the season is done….unless the Steelers have some playoff games at home.  Here is a photo of Antonio Brown I captured last weekend.  This was right after he scored a 28-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

My football season is over with the end of the Steelers playoff run.  I’m sure I’ll share photos from this season with you from time to time, at least until next season.  With that said, here is a photo of Antonio Brown from last Saturday’s game.  Of the remaining teams, I’m pulling for the Patriots.

Ready For The Playoffs???

How about it?  Are you ready for this weekend’s NFL Playoff games?  I am!!  I have all my camera gear ready for the Steelers vs. Jaguars game.  The big question for the Steelers is whether or not Antonio Brown will play.  I took this photo of him a few games ago.  I hope you have a good week and weekend.

Automatic

Everyone knows I’m not a Steelers fan, but I can see why Steelers fans get frustrated with the offense at times.  They (Bryant, James and Rogers) seem to drop more passes then they catch.  The only consistent receiver on the team is Antonio Brown…just Automatic.  He catches everything thrown his way including this acrobatic catch with Packers’ Davon House draped all over him.

Playmaker

Last week he didn’t behave very well on the sidelines.  This week he was better and had some big plays.  Unfortunately for Steelers’ fans, Antonio and the rest of the offense didn’t have a great game.  This photo was taken towards the end of the game when the Steelers were trying to make a comeback.  That was before the 5th (back breaking) interception.

Brown In Cleveland

I hope you have a great weekend.  I’m working hard at enjoying mine.  Today’s photo is of the great Antonio Brown.  I took this last November in Cleveland on a very cold game day.  The Steelers won the game 24-9, but that score is deceiving.  The game wasn’t as close as that score.  It could have easily been 40-9.  The Browns just looked terrible.

Antonio Brown vs. DJ Hayden

Normally off the ball action doesn’t get much photography attention.  On this specific play, I was following Antonio Brown down the field snapping photos as he went.  I loved the intensity of both players in this picture.

By the way, Antonio vs. DJ wasn’t even a close match up.  Antonio had 17 catches for 284 yards.  He ran wild all over the field and had his way with DJ.

All Smiles, All The Time

I don’t think I’ve ever been around someone who smiles as much as Antonio Brown.  Seriously, every time I see him in person prior to games, during the games, between plays, during plays, after the games, etc….  He is always smiling!

Either he is a huge fake, which I doubt, or he just enjoys his life.  I can’t claim to be his friend, we’ve exchanged words in short interactions, but he doesn’t even know my name.  But my gut tells me he’s just a good guy, who is always happy.  And my gut is usually right.
