Carnival Sushi Bar

I hope you’ve gotten over the holiday madness and are getting back to your routine.  I know I’ve already slipped back to normal daily routines.

Today’s photo is from one of the Carnival Cruise ships.  I honestly can’t remember which one.  This was the Sushi Bar on the Promenade Deck.  I loved the colors and small architectural details.

Elation Piano Bar

Here’s a silly photo for you.  I took this on board the Carnival Elation cruise ship, within their piano bar.  The entire bar is designed with a New York City theme and that includes this giant replica of the Statue of Liberty’s head.  Sort of a weird thing to find in a bar, but it sort of worked!!

Gilbert Arizona Temple

I’ve mentioned before that I jump around as I process images.  I’ll process a few photos from one trip, do some from another, then change to a 3rd, etc…  I just get bored if I process to many photos in a row from the same trip/event.  With that said, I just processed this photo from 2015…..  Its been sitting on my hard drive waiting to be freed.  So you get it now in early 2018.

Location:  This is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the town of Gilbert Arizona.  We spent one night in this suburb of Phoenix at a nice Hilton property in this area.  In advance, I found out about this amazing building (advanced scouting works) and had my friend drop me off before sunrise.  Then I spent about an hour or so walking around the outside capturing photos from every angle as the light changed.  Good times….

St. Peter's Basilica

What an amazing facility!!  An Italian Renaissance church (the world’s largest church) inside Vatican City is worth a visit regardless of your religious preference.  The architecture, design, and detail is world class.  In short, I was wowed!!
