I’m keeping it short tonight. I captured this beauty in the basement of the abandoned U.S. Post Office in Gary Indiana.

When MJ and I were traveling through the country of Montenegro, we were taken to this small village called Njeguši up in the mountains. We stopped here for a couple of hours to get lunch, use the restroom and explore this tiny village. When I say tiny, I mean really tiny. Maybe 30 people lived here. Anyway, I was taking photos an old home in town and I just fell in love with these green doors that were part of the structure.
In case you didn’t know, Montenegro is a small country between Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovo, and Tirana on Adriatic Sea. Beautiful country with tons of mountains….

Don’t forget to check out my photo galleries. I update and add to them often.
I found this cool little alley while walking around the city of Valletta, Malta. Unfortunately, MJ wasn’t with me on this city exploration. I wanted to open all these doors and see what was inside, but I restrained myself. I didn’t think the owners would appreciate it.

Don’t forget to check out my photo galleries. I recently updated them.
I took this picture last year while touring the West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville WV. I posted some other pictures and information from this location in the past. You can see that here: http://brook-ward.com/blog/2013/6/15/walkin-the-line
This picture is the transition point from the normal prison population into the really, really bad boys held in Maximum Security.
This is a seven image auto-bracketed HDR image of the doors
at City Hall near my home. I got a
request to take a picture of this building, which I completed. The building itself is fairly plain,
but there was something about these doors that drew me in for a closer
look. I hope you like them.
By the way, tomorrow I will be photographing the Steelers vs. Ravens at Heinz Field. Like normal my goals will be in this order:
Don’t get run over by a player
Have Fun
Get some great photos.
I’ll share some photos from the game on Monday or Tuesday.
A local company called me with a request to photograph the doors of the local court house for one of their publications. I was more then willing to help them, but I didn’t think the doors would be very interesting. Well, once I got the photo done, I’d have to say I really like it. What do you think?
