This is a great walled city. This should be on your vacation wish list. The ancient city is beautiful with amazing history. We spent some time walking around the top of the wall taking photos like this one. As you can see, the city can get busy with tourist as it should for such a cool spot.

I loved this spot inside the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik. We stumbled upon this Cloister hidden among the tons of ancient architectural wonders. Its an amazing old city.

This is the ancient walled city portion of Dubrovnik. MJ and I had such a great time exploring this area. It was equally great walking around the upper portion of the walls as it was at street level exploring the shops, architecture and churches. I wish we could go back.
By the way, today is our (MJ and I) anniversary. Twenty-nine years ago, we tied the knot against everyone’s advice. Our family and friends thought we were crazy. Guess what…they were correct about the crazy part, but not about the marriage. Those years have been great and I’d do it all over again. So today, like every day, my love goes out to MJ.

This is a beautiful city on the Adriatic Sea. Admittedly, I didn’t see much of the country, but what I saw was great. I took this photo from atop of ancient wall of the walled city looking out at the newer portion of the city. I’d love to get back to Croatia. Maybe some day!!

This Croatia city is beautiful. The ancient walled city within Dubrovnik is a wonderful location….well worth the trip. I took this photo standing on top of the ancient wall looking down at the marina. You can see some of the wall on the left side of the photo. I want to go back right now…..

We had a great time walking the walled city of Dubrovnik Croatia. What an amazing place!!! If you ever get the chance to visit, don’t wait. Anyway, while we were walking down the main street within the walled city, we kept passing these little alleys. Some of them were empty, but some of them were being used for all kinds of things. This specific alley was being used as a café. You can see, the café takes up the entire space.
While we were in Croatia, we got a chance to travel up the mountain for this view looking back at Dubrovnik. We didn’t have the best weather so the sky isn’t exactly pretty, but it adds a little drama.

Our day in Dubrovnik Croatia was a cloudy over cast day. Regardless we made the best of it and it helped with photography, which is normally very hard during the bright sun during the middle of the day.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful walled medieval city. I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. This view is from the top of the medieval wall looking across this small bay at another costal fort.
