Here is another drone photo of the South Haven Light on Lake Michigan. I took this photo 40 minutes after sunset last October.
South Haven Light
Short post tonight…. Here is an up close view of the South Haven Light via my drone on the Lake Michigan coast.
South Haven Sunset
Here is another perspective from my time in South Haven Michigan…. I had a good time on this chilly night taking tons of photos as the sunset through dusk and into night…. As you can see, I captured this a little before sunset.
1st Presbyterian Christmas Tree
This beautiful old church is in downtown Pittsburgh…. They do a great job of decorating for the holidays.

South Haven
Here is another photo from our recent trip to Michigan. I spent a long time on this pier trying to capture a sunset and the blue hour afterward. This was one of the last photos I took that night before calling it good. I don’t know the person with the red jacket, but I appreciate them providing the role of model.

South Haven Light
I know….another Michigan photo. This one is from South Haven Michigan. MJ was amazing and sat out in the cold for over an hour waiting for me to capture sunset and post-sunset photos of this light at the end of the pier. I got this one with the drone from a perspective not normally seen.

Pitt Light Trails
Happy Thursday night. Here is a photo I took about this time last year. I took this from the 6th Street Bridge (also called the Clemente Bridge) which connects the North Shore to downtown Pittsburgh.

Logan Square
MJ and I were in Philly earlier this week for a very short visit. We didn’t get to do much (work trip), but I got a little free time to do some night photography around Logan Square. I took this photo from a roof top bar overlooking this area. You can’t see it in this photo…. but if you drove straight down the road in this picture….you’d run into the Rocky Statue.

Fun In The City
Apparently, I’m not a very clever individual. I struggle more times then I’d like to admit coming up with things to say when I type up these blog posts. Maybe it is because I work on them after long hours at work…or maybe I’m just not very clever.
Therefore, you get boring posts….. I don’t really have anything clever to say tonight either. I took this photo on the Smithfield Bridge in Pittsburgh. If you haven’t seen it, I believe it is the most underrated bridge in and around the city.
Game Night
Short post tonight….. I took this photo a few weeks ago in downtown Pittsburgh while the Pirates were playing the Athletics. It seems like everyone takes photos of these bridges aimed the opposite direction (back towards the city). I don’t see many aimed toward the stadium….. So here goes.

Speeding Across Smithfield
I took this photo about a year ago, but just processed (edited) it today. Using my normal process, (total random selection about what photo I process next) I came across this beauty this morning. I had a rare event happen. I had a few hours with nothing to do so I processed a large batch of photos. I normally do few per day, but don’t often get a large amount of time to dedicate towards it. It was raining outside, housework was done, and we didn’t have anywhere to go so it became photo editing time.
About this photo: Blair, Dave and I went for a photo walk in early 2018 around the Smithfield Bridge in Pittsburgh. We met up after work to capture some photos, grab dinner, and take more photos at sunset. I captured this one as a number of cars and a bus zoomed passed me. Pittsburgh has some interesting and beautiful bridges. The Smithfield Bridge is high on the list of wonderful spots.

Transamerica Pyramid
What to post? That’s the question that plagues me just about every time I post a photo. I don’t like to post too many photos from the same area or subject matter in a row to keep you interested. But when you have thousands of photos, selecting one can be tough.
Some nights it is easy to select one, other nights I scroll for a long time. Tonight, I selected this photo from San Fran. Why? I really don’t know. I guess its just time for this photo to be released.
By the way, some of these drivers didn’t like me standing in the street to capture this pic. I can’t imagine why!!!

Lombard Street
I’ve loved my past trips to San Francisco. What a great city! The last time I was there, I went to Lombard Street on two difference occasions. This specific time, it was late at night. I was basically the only person there. The other time was during daylight and it was packed with cars and tourist. I liked having it to myself the best.

Lombard Street
Like all tourist who visit San Francisco, I went to see Lombard Street. I have to admit, it was fairly cool. I visited it twice during my last SF visit. I was there the first time during the daylight (bright light). So I went back the next night to photograph it during and after sunset…. That’s when I captured this beauty looking up hill.

Cheboygan Point Lighthouse
I can’t remember the last time I posted a photo of a lighthouse. So tonight, I have the Cheboygan Point Light house for your viewing pleasure. I think this is an abandoned structure.
I took this photo last fall, when I was on Lake Huron shipwrecking scuba diving with some friends. Between dives, I launched the drone and captured this photo. If you look closely, you can see us in the boat behind the lighthouse.

Calzone's
On my first night in San Francisco, I ate dinner outside at this restaurant. It was such a cool experience just watching the people and traffic pass by my seat. And the food was great as well. I liked this spot so much, that a couple of days later I went back to photograph the building after sunset.

Brooklyn Light Trails
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I know I did. It was a nice relaxing weekend. With that in mind, I’m going to keep this post short. I’ll let the photo speak for itself.

Here is another photo from last week’s trip to Washington D.C. When you have limited time in an area, you have to make the best of what you get…. I didn’t get the best weather as you can see. Regardless, I sat in the middle of Pennsylvania Ave to capture this photo.

Liberty Bridge
Here is a picture from last night. Blair and I planned to go out earlier in the week and we didn’t because I kept changing my mind. So we didn’t end up going out until last night. The weather was nice, but the sky didn’t turn out very pretty. I think we missed a few beautiful skies early in the week. Oh well……..
I scouted this spot before we left and it didn’t disappoint. It was fairly easy to get to and the view was great.

Isla Mujeres Lighthouse
Today’s photo is from our last Mexico trip. We took a day and traveled to Isla Mujeres to do a little exploring. I took this photograph on our way to the island from the mainland. I love the blue colors in the photo.
