Short post today…….basically because I don’t have much to say about this photo. As you can tell, it is from our last trip to Barbados. This is a relatively small hotel and pool, but has a great location on the island. It wasn’t difficult to take this photo with an empty pool. Why would anyone spend time in it when 10 feet away was one of the best beaches in the world?

If you couldn’t tell from some of my past blog posts, I loved Barbados. I’d move there tomorrow if life didn’t get in the way. It was wonderful in so many ways. Previously, I posted pictures from the Barbados Parliament building, Foul Bay and Bottom Bay. Tonight, I have a sunset photo taken from the Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados, which sits south of Bridgetown on Carlisle Bay. It’s an excellent spot. While we were on the island, we didn’t see many big pools. We guessed that with fresh water being a limited resource on the island, having a large pool is probably expensive.
Anyway, our hotel was no different. Most places don’t have a pool at all…why would you need one with all the amazing beaches they have. But the places that do have a pool, like the Radisson, have small pools.
This is the view from the lobby of the Radisson looking out over their pool and deck to the sunset beyond. Just beautiful!!
