Steelers vs Raiders Game Action

It was a great week 2 game at Heinz Field.  Here are a few action photos I captured from the Raiders win (sorry Steelers fans).

Diontae's TD

It was great covering the Steelers-Bills game yesterday in Buffalo for a few reasons.  First, it was great to get the season started.  Second, the environment was fun to experience.  I’ll admit the Bills fans seemed louder than I normally experience in Pittsburgh.

Diontae Johnson made this acrobatic touchdown catch in the 4th quarter right in front of me.  Sometimes I’m lucky to be in the right spot at the right time.

I’ll share more photos from the game later this week.

AB

Last Sunday night’s game was enjoyable, at least for me.  The weather was warm (for December), there was a lot of action, high scoring, and I didn’t get hurt.  I only have a couple more home games to cover before the season is done….unless the Steelers have some playoff games at home.  Here is a photo of Antonio Brown I captured last weekend.  This was right after he scored a 28-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Tyreek Hill Scores

The weather was terrible at the Steelers vs. Chiefs game last Sunday night.  It rained and rained all night long.   The good news is that it didn’t rain as hard as the last home game.  So there was that.

Anyway, tonight’s photo is of Kansas City Chief’s Tyreek Hill as he dove for the touchdown.  I’ll probably be the only person who likes it, but that’s okay.  Well, I bet Tyreek Hill will like it as well.

Defense Meets Offense

Unfortunately for the Steelers, the Ravens own this specific battle.   Michael Campanaro scored the touchdown on this play by jumping over Antwon Blake.  This all took place last night (October 1st) during the Thursday Night game.  It was a fun night to be at the game.  Because:

·      It was a prime time night game.  They always seem to have more energy and excitement compared to a normal Sunday afternoon game.

·      Jermoe Bettis was honored with his Hall of Fame Ring

·      Steelers vs. Ravens is always a tough battle

·      The CBS Thursday Night Football reporting crew was on site.

·      Andrew McCutchen was in the house

·      The weather was perfect football weather

Anyway, it was fun.  Have a great weekend.

Brown TD Catch

Here is one of my photos from last night’s Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts game at Heinz Field.  This specific photo is of Antonio Browns catching a touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger with 8:33 left on the clock in the 2nd quarter.  Colts’ CB Greg Toler played good defense, but Antonio caught the pass anyway.

As many people know, I am not a fan of either team.  But I enjoyed photographing the game because of all the scoring and interesting plays.
