Trevi

I took a ton of photos of the Trevi Fountain, during our short visit to this great site.  Unfortunately, I didn’t get many great photos.  I struggled to get good composition with the tourist basically standing shoulder to shoulder in the area around the fountain.  It was tough to find an angle without people in the way or even get to the spot I wanted.

Isla Mujeres Lighthouse

Today’s photo is from our last Mexico trip.  We took a day and traveled to Isla Mujeres to do a little exploring.  I took this photograph on our way to the island from the mainland.  I love the blue colors in the photo.

East Liberty Presbyterian Cathedral

I’ve posted photos from this location in the past.  This church is a great architectural accomplishment and I’ve enjoyed visiting it a number of times.  This perspective is slightly different from the typical view.  How do you like it?

Carrie Furnace Structures

Today’s picture is from our photo walk at the Carrie Furnace.  I’ve posted and written about this spot in the past.  So I won’t waste your time with the background information again.  I love the industrial structures and machinery.

Old San Juan

Old San Juan is my favorite city in the Caribbean.  There are a number of great cities and towns in that area of the world.  But there isn’t anything like the original part of San Juan.  The Spanish architecture, cobble stone streets, history, etc…  The old world charm is palpable.

Brown In Cleveland

I hope you have a great weekend.  I’m working hard at enjoying mine.  Today’s photo is of the great Antonio Brown.  I took this last November in Cleveland on a very cold game day.  The Steelers won the game 24-9, but that score is deceiving.  The game wasn’t as close as that score.  It could have easily been 40-9.  The Browns just looked terrible.

Downtown Pittsburgh

Today’s photo is from the beautiful downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  What else can I say about Pittsburgh that I haven’t already in past blog posts.  I love this view.  I also love the view when you drive through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and come up looking at the city.  You can’t beat it.

Watkins Glen State Park

Today’s photo is from Watkins Glen State Park in New York State.  This is a very unique state park with a Gorge Trail running down the middle of the park.  This trail has a number of wonderful waterfalls, like this one.

Tomlin

The interesting thing about Tomlin is that most Steelers’ fans want him fired.  I don’t get it.  I’m not a Steelers’ fan, so maybe I don’t understand.  But all he’s done has win, win, and win some more.  Heck, he’s won a super bowl!  As a Lions fan, I’d take those results.  Anyway, I don’t understand, but I have a guess.  I’m not going to get into that on this blog.  We can save that a face-to-face discussion.

Urbex Classroom

This abandoned school is a great urbex spot in Pittsburgh.  But I haven’t been back since they found a dead body inside it last summer.  The dead body doesn’t scare me….  I just assume the police are keeping a closer eye on this spot.  So I’ll leave it alone for a while.   But I need to find some new abandoned locations.  I need to get out a take some photos soon.

31st Street Bridge

I need to get out and take some more Pittsburgh photos soon.  Believe or not, I’m running out of photos to process and post from my great city.   I took this photo last fall on a photo walk with Brad and Dave.  I didn’t get a ton of wonderful photos that night, but I had a good time.  This one was taken just past sunset.

Babcock State Park

I hope you’re having a great weekend.  I’m just taking it easy and enjoying some down time.  Today’s photo is from Babcock State Park in West Virginia.  Blair, MJ and I went down there last fall chasing the fall color change.  As you can see, we missed it.   But I got this great shot anyway.

Ricketts Glen State Park

I’ve written about this location many times in the past, but I’ll say it again.  If you get the chance, go hike the waterfall trail at this Pennsylvania state park.  There are a ton of great waterfalls all within a three-mile hike.  Just amazing.

Industrial Urbex

Today’s post is another photo from the Carrie Furnace outside of Pittsburgh.  This former steel blast furnace help produce tons of steel per day, back when steel was actually made in Pittsburgh.  I liked how this yellow handle seems untouched by the decay and years of abandonment.

Sedona Landscape

This beautiful landscape is from right outside Sedona Arizona.  We were fortunate and got to spend a few days in this part of the world a while back.  The weather and the landscape is amazing.  I’d go back in a heartbeat.  It’s that good….if you haven’t been, put it on your “to do” list.

Funky Tunnel

I didn’t know what to call this photo.  I like it of course.  It’s a little artsy, a little different and maybe a little weird.  How would you describe it?

I took this inside the Carrie Furnace during our photo walk there with a group of friends.  Click HERE to read more information on this site from one of my prior post.

OBJ

Time for another football photo!!  Here is Odell Beckham Jr.  I captured this photo of him last December when the New York Giants were in town to play the Steelers.  He had a good game with 10 catches for 100 yards.  But his team lost to the Steelers that chilly day and he didn’t seem to be in a good mood.  What do you think about his hair????

Empire State Building

MJ and I spent hours at the Top Of The Rock during our last visit to NYC.  What a great time….at least for me.  MJ tolerates my photography obsession.  She stayed with me on top of that building hours longer then most people would.   This photo is from that summer evening before the sun set.
