Carnival Pools

Early morning photo walk around a Carnival cruise ship resulted in this series of pool photos.  My problem is I don’t remember what ship or what trip these are from.

Pittsburgh Theater

Early in the pandemic I visited this classic Pittsburgh location.  It was a former performing arts theater.  Now its rotting away.

Bonaire Water Sports

The country of Bonaire is a water sport fan’s dream come true.  Sign me up for the scuba diving.  But if you can do it in, under or above the ocean, then this is your place.  We spent a couple hours having lunch at a great seaside restaurant watching the windsurfers and I captured a few images as well.

Alaska Brown Bears

I’ve been editing photos from our Alaska trip.  Here are some bear photos I captured during one our many rainy excursions.

Harpa Concert Hall

This is a beautiful architectural building Reykavik Iceland.   I loved the modern glass honeycomb design….  It would be great to experience a performance inside this building.  I’ve had a chance to walk around the outside of it twice… I can only imagine how great it is on the inside.

Reef Dives

I’ve posted some photos recently from the shark and cenote dives.  Now here are some photos from our reef dive.

Bull Sharks!!

Blair and I had a great day of diving with Bull Sharks.  Unfortunately, they didn’t get very close to us in the water, unlike our last dive with them.  I know that sounds like a strange thing to say (…wanting sharks to get closer to us), but it isn’t a scary thing.  It was just hard to get good photos of them when they stayed far away.

Regardless, here are some of the best photos from this day.

Cenote Scuba Diving

If you’re a scuba diver, I’d highly recommend diving some of the cenotes in Mexico.  Blair and I completed a couple of them on our last trip to Mexico.  I’ve also completed a number of cenote dives on prior trips.  Here are some photos from the recent dives.

JRM Video Productions

I got an opportunity for a behind the scenes experience with @jrm_video while they did a live TV broadcast of the Baldwin High School vs Mt. Lebanon High School basketball games.

It was great watching @jakemysliwczykphoto and Ryan direct the production and the crew.  Big thanks to them for letting me invade their Production Trailer.  Here are photos from that experience.

Riviera Maya Resort

I hope you’re staying warm on this chilly January day.  Here are some photos from a warm location, past trip.  All these photos were taken at dusk with the drone.  I love this pool.

Pittsburgh Mornings

Here are a few photos from a cold spring morning.  I captured these from the West End Bridge.  We got honored with a wonderful sky that morning.

Hungarian Parliament

Budapest is a wonderful city.  It is at the top of my list of places I’d like to revisit.  Here is a series of drone photos of the Parliament Building and the Buda Castle that sit along the Danube River.

Sports Photographer During The Winter

Ever wonder what a professional sports photographer looks like on the sideline of an NFL game in subzero weather?

Well, here you go.  This is what twelve layers (really only four layers) of clothes looks like over a photog. Turns you into the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Steelers vs Raiders 2022

This was one of the coldest games I’ve ever covered.  I did a game in Cleveland many years ago that was -20 degrees.  Maybe that was my coldest game???

Anyway, here are some of the photos from last Saturday night’s game. Let’s start with some photos from the Franco Harris jersey number retirement.

Now some game action photos.

Christmas Lego Builds

As many of you know, we usually complete a family Lego build each Christmas.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have Blair with us this year, but MJ and I worked on it and provided him with updates…which he hated.  I also had a second build this year.  My buddy Jason gave me the Lego Mercedes F1 kit as a Christmas gift, which was very nice of him.

So, I built that today as well.

Our family holiday build is the Colosseum.  You can see both builds below along with some actual photos I took at the real Colosseum.

Iceland Cold

It’s so cold in Pittsburgh right now, it could be Iceland.  Here are a few photos from our last Iceland trip.  I captured these at the glacier lagoon and diamond beach.

Pittsburgh Fun

Back on November 19th, I shared the first image from this photo shoot.  Here are the rest of the photos from that night and a behind the scenes video.
