Last Wednesday night, I met Brad
and Dave
Truxell in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh to take some photos, have
dinner and talk. We got lucky with
the weather, had a good meal at a restaurant near the University of Pittsburgh
and captured some good photos.
Here is a photo from that night.
What is Phipps?
Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, a great steel and glass Victorian greenhouse, has been inviting visitors to explore the beauty and mysteries of plants since 1893. Set amidst one of Pittsburgh’s largest green spaces, Schenley Park, Phipps stands as a cultural and architectural center of the city’s Oakland neighborhood.
