Montana Road

This picture was taken a few years ago, on our Yellowstone National Park trip. If you’ve been to Montana before, you know how beautiful it is. If you’ve never been, the landscape is so cool, it’s worth the trip. We spent lots of time, driving around Big Sky Country to experience as much of the environment as we could. On the day I took this picture, we drove for about 6 hours and probably saw 2 other people the entire time.

Photo Technique:

I took this picture hand held (I didn’t have to worry about traffic) in Aperture mode with it set at f22. I didn’t shoot any auto exposure brackets, this is just one exposure that I tone mapped in Photomatix Pro.
