Here is a 7 exposure HDR image of the 118-foot tall waterfall on Iceland’s eastern side called Hengifoss. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in the country. Below it along the trail from the parking lot is another waterfall called Litanesfoss. This was probably the hardest hike MJ and I had while we were in Iceland. The hike was basically straight up the mountain on a goat path. I would climb up this trail for 30 minutes thinking that I had to be getting closer and I swear it seemed like I made no progress. Repeat that process 4 times and you get the idea. As you can imagine, there wasn’t a lot of others on this trail compared to most of our other stops.
