It is hard to believe that our cruise happened over a month ago. Wow time can fly by very fast. Anyway, here is a picture from the Piano Bar on board the Carnival Dream cruise ship. I have a routine that’s developed over time through our numerous cruises. What I do is wake up at least one morning at an extremely early time to photograph the cruise ship when 99% of the passengers are asleep. So I’ll get up at 5am to photograph the inside of the ship while it is empty (or so it appears) and stay up to capture the sunrise over the ocean. If I get up later, the early birds will start to come out for their coffee. If I get up to much earlier, the casino and party crowd will still be up getting in my photos. 5am is the magic hour on a cruise boat.

What I find extremely interesting about this photo is all the RED in the photo. With a location like this, it can be very hard to get a good picture. I think this turned out pretty good considering the environment.
