In January 2020, we spent a week on the island of Bonaire with The Neighbors (our close friends and former neighbors). I loved the condo we rented on the beach, which allowed me to snorkel every day. One of those days, I spent a good ten minutes with this little guy.
West End
I captured this photo a few weeks ago, very early in the morning. That’s the only reason I could take this photo, otherwise the traffic would have been too busy. For those of you not from Pittsburgh, this is the West End Bridge.
Watt Attack
At the rate the Steelers are losing players during the 2021 free agency, T.J. Watt will be the only player they have left on defense. I took this photo in Cincinnati last season.
Splendor
Here is an interior architecture photo for you that looks a little abstract/contemporary. This is the upper floors of the Carnival Splendor looking out at the elevators and open atrium over the lobby. I liked the colors, patterns, textures and abstract feel of this scene.

Mystery Flower
I have no idea what type of flower this is. Does anyone out there know? I’m sure someone (or a bunch of people) does. Anyway, I captured this photo in a botanical garden near Cape Town South Africa in 2017.
Gary Indiana Fun
Here is a photo from a year ago, right before the world got locked down. A small group of us (the Shutter Rush Team) went to Gary Indiana to photograph some of their many abandoned buildings. This is an indoor elevated school track around the gym floor below. I liked the leading lines, textures, and mood of the photo.
Majestic Creature
MJ and I had a wonderful ten minutes watching this guy during a safari in Swaziland (now called Eswatini). He didn’t want to move from the road, so we just sat in the truck watching him do whatever he wanted.

Chase Claypool

Regensburg - Danube
I took this drone photo looking down on the city of Regensburg, Germany and the Danube River back in 2019. This was right before we got on a river boat and cruised down the Danube all the way to Budapest. Great, great, great trip.
Michigan Autumn
I took this photo last fall during our Michigan wine trail trip. We experienced great fall colors while we were there. This cool little road is actually the exit off one of the vineyards. So many great wineries in the Traverse City area.

This abandoned Russian early warning missile radar station is a pretty cool spot to visit. This one sits inside the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
Confidante Pools
How is your weekend going so far? I hope it is amazing…..if not here is a photo of the Confidante Hotel pools on Miami Beach Florida. I took this photo right after sunrise, when the pools were empty. Otherwise, I’d never get a photo of this spot without tons of humans in and around the pools.
