Here is a throwback to our 2019 Europe river cruise. We started in this beautiful town in Germany. I loved the medieval architecture, cathedrals and bridges. It just made for a very photographic spot.
Regensburg Clock Tower
This college town was the start of our 2019 European river cruise down the Danube River. This is a great little city….
Danube River Cruising
Here is the Gate 1 Travel river cruise boat called Monarch Princess sitting in the Danube River at Regensburg Germany.
Regensburg - Danube
I took this drone photo looking down on the city of Regensburg, Germany and the Danube River back in 2019. This was right before we got on a river boat and cruised down the Danube all the way to Budapest. Great, great, great trip.
Change The System...
“Change the system, not the climate, the future is for children”… nice graffiti message on an alley wall in Regensburg Germany. We saw lots of graffiti around Europe with this type of style, interesting how different it is compared to the very modern (almost pop culture) graffiti style in the United States. By the way, I have no idea if this is random or supported by a specific group or political party.

Regensburg Blue Hour
I loved my time in Regensburg Germany. This small college city was great with some wonderful historic sites including the bridge, clock tower and cathedral in this photo. I captured this at dusk with my drone.

Ostentor
This is the spectacular East Gate for the city of Regensburg Germany. Today is serves more as a historical landmark and a reminder of great architecture from many years gone by.

St Michael's Ceiling
Here is something a little different for you. This is the beautiful ceiling inside the Church of St Michael in Passau Germany. This picture doesn’t do the actual church ceiling justice. It was outstanding.
By the way, I took this photo last summer during a European river cruise with MJ and “The Neighbors”. “The Neighbors” refers to Kris and Scott who we travel with frequently and who used to be our actual neighbors. They travel with us so much and know I love photographing churches. So Kris refers to them as “ABC”…which stands for Another Big Church.

Regensburg Cathedral
Short post tonight. Here is a drone photo I captured last May in Regensburg Germany. This little college town was super fun. The architecture, history and beauty are all great. Loved it!!

Regensburg Follow Up
Yesterday I posted a drone photo I took in Regensburg Germany. Today’s post is a small video from that same evening flying along the Danube River in Regensburg.
Christmas Gift
MJ and I haven’t gotten each other Christmas gifts for many years. Instead we travel throughout the year. Occasionally during the trips, one of us will lean over and tell the other “Merry Christmas”. We had some great trips last year including a great river cruise down the Danube (from Regensburg Germany through Austria and Slovakia with the final stop in Budapest Hungary). That was a great Christmas gift!!
I took this photo with my drone during that trip in Regensburg Germany. I can’t wait to see how the 2020 trips turn out… We have some great trips already booked with a few other potentials.

Regensburg
I took this recently on a trip through part of Germany. This cool little college town has some long history like many areas in this part of the world including back to medieval times. We were out most of the day exploring this town. Later that night, I went out for a short period to capture some evening photos. I liked this one because you get the historic Stone Bridge (12th century), Danube River and the Dom St. Peter Cathedral (13th century Gothic style) all in one beautiful photo.
