It doesn’t matter how many times I go to downtown Pittsburgh; I’m always impressed. I think Pittsburgh has one of the best downtown areas of all cities in the U.S. Do you agree?
I took this from the North Shore a few months ago.

I hope you’re having a great weekend. Not much happening on our end…. Here are some photos from my Liberty Pole Spirits photo shoot in early July. If you haven’t visited their tasting room in downtown Washington PA, you’re missing out.
I did a small photo walk today with Joe and Brad in downtown Washington Pennsylvania. I also did a photo walk in this area a few weeks ago with Blair and Lisa. Here is just a small sample of the street art that the City has sponsored to help improve the downtown.
I’m still going through my photos from the 2022 Miami Grand Prix race weekend. Per normal, we moved around the venue to capture photos from many perspectives. All these photos were taken in the same corner as the cars came at me. I thought you might like them, since it’s a different composition from the normal racing photos.
MJ and I visited this little pub in the village of Seydisfjordur Iceland. I loved this little town and would like to visit again, but next time I want to stay a little long.
I love these little guys. I took these photos in Iceland last summer. Great experience.
All I have for you today, is a photo from paradise. I took this drone photo during sunrise near Playa del Carmen Mexico.
Here are a few more photos from a great weekend in Miami for the first ever Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. I thoroughly enjoyed my time photographing this event for the media and I can’t wait for the next race.
Here is another photo from my spring trip to London. This photo was the product of an early morning photo walk with Robert. We got lucky with a nice sunrise.
I don’t know what you did during the holiday weekend, but I spent a little time doing some product photography. We took a few bottles of Liberty Pole whiskey to the local park to capture these images. I’ve only edited a couple so far, which means there are more to come.
Don’t forget, the annual Whiskey Rebellion Festival is next weekend in southwestern Pennsylvania. It’s always a great time, plus I love the history behind it.
I’d be willing to place a small bet this is the longest hopscotch course in the world. I took this photo around mid-night this time last year in Reykjavik Iceland. This was one of those nights I’d get MJ back to our hotel room and go back out taking photographs by myself.
Here is a throwback to our 2019 Europe river cruise. We started in this beautiful town in Germany. I loved the medieval architecture, cathedrals and bridges. It just made for a very photographic spot.
On the south coast of Iceland’s Snaefellsness peninsula, there is this cute little black church sitting on the cliff above the Atlantic ocean. There is a small village with a hotel near by (about a mile away) called Buoir. The church was constructed in 1703 by Bent Larusson who was a merchant in the area.
Here is a small video I put together from our trip to Miami Beach last year.
This is from our Iceland trip about this time last year. This large Lutheran church sits upon a hill overlooking downtown Akureyri. Akureyri is the 2nd largest city in the country and sits on the northern coast.
Today’s post is a photo from downtown Pittsburgh. This is PPG Place. Someday, I want to explore the inside of this building. The outside is amazing looking and for some reason, I’ve imagined the inside as being just an average business office. If anyone at PPG Place wants to prove me wrong, DM me.
During our 2021 Iceland trip, I went off by myself one night to go find this hidden glacier bay. I traveled a long distance down a path (calling it a road gives it too much credit…calling it a off road trail or path is probably more accurate).
Once I got to the end, I climbed a large hill to find the glacier lake and glacier coming down the mountain. From the front of the lake, I flew the drone over a mile to get to the start of the glacier and captured this photo looking straight down.
Sergio Perez (nicknamed Checo) is performing at an amazing level this season. He’d be leading in the Driver’s Championship, if Red Bull had just let him race at the Spain Grand Prix. Towards the end of that race, the Red Bull team ordered him to let his teammate (Max) pass giving Max the win. Checo probably would have won that race to go along with his win at Monaco last weekend. He should be leading the Driver’s Championship instead of being a few points behind Max.
At this point, if a Red Bull driver is going to win, I’m cheering for Checo. Here are some photos I took of him this season at the Miami Grand Prix.
Today is Memorial Day in the United States. A day to remember those who lost their life serving in the military.
I took this photo of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on our last trip to Washington DC. It was worth a visit and puts things in perspective.
During our last trip to Iceland, MJ and I stopped to look at this beached shipwreck. As it turns out, this is Iceland’s oldest steel ship. It was run aground in 1981 instead of scuttling it when it wasn’t safe to use anymore. And it’s been sitting there ever since.
