PNC Park From Above

Here is a photo I took in late 2019 of downtown Pittsburgh.  You can see the baseball stadium (PNC Park), Allegheny River, the three sister bridges (one being renovated), the Lawrence Convention Center and most of downtown.

View From The Top

I had a good photo walk with Blair, Brad and Dave recently in Pittsburgh.  It was a nice hanging out with the guys and capturing some photos.

If you’re not familiar with Pittsburgh, this building is called the US Steel Building (even though it has UPMC on it) and is the tallest building in the city.  There are great views from within and outside.

Looking Down

How is your week going?  Mine has been very busy.  Thus, I’m just getting around to creating this post at 10pm at night.  So, this will be short.

Here is a photo I took a few months ago looking down the US Steel Building onto the streets of downtown Pittsburgh.

Andy Warhol Bridge

I hope you have a fun and stress-free weekend.  I was editing photos last night and completed this one.  I took this a few months ago in downtown Pittsburgh on a photo walk.  If you’re not familiar with Pittsburgh, this is the Andy Warhol bridge looking towards downtown.

What should I share with you tonight???  Honestly, I’m probably not in a good frame of mind to share much without sounding negative.  Therefore, I’ll just leave you with this nice photo of the Pittsburgh skyline with the Andy Warhol Bridge in the foreground.  That’s it.  I’m out!!

Down View

Here is a unique perspective of the US Steel Building in Pittsburgh.  We don’t normally see the world from these angles.  I’ve taken a bunch of photos looking straight up buildings in the past.  I haven’t taken many like this using the opposite perspective.  I’m digging it.

Sorry I’ve been absent lately…. Just very busy with work lately.

I finally got out to take some photos last night.  Yes, finally!!!  Dave, Emily and I hit the North Shore of Pittsburgh.  We took some photos, grabbed dinner and then took some more photos.

Here is an unusual Pittsburgh perspective for you.  Have a great weekend.

The Burgh

Most of my photos are extremely colorful.  I usually push the limits of color because that’s the way I like them.  Tonight’s photo is toned down compared to my normal.  I took this photo with my drone a few months ago at sunset.  Downtown Pittsburgh is a beautiful spot.

Downtown's Backside

Happy Sunday, where ever you are today.  I’m going to be lazy.  I planned on doing a bunch of yard work, except its been raining at my house.  So I’ll pivot to a more relaxing agenda.  Today’s photo is one I took on a past photo walk with Dave, and Brad from the back side of downtown Pittsburgh.  Most view and photograph Pittsburgh from the river side, which is the iconic view you always see.  This is why I think this perspective is so unique.

Facing East

I haven’t posted a Pittsburgh photo in a long time.  So tonight’s the night.  I’ve had this photo sitting on my hard drive waiting to be shared.  I took this photo a while back while on a photo walk with Dave and Brad.  I need to get back into Pittsburgh soon to capture some more photos.  It’s been to long!!

Blood Moon Over Pittsburgh

Tonight, Blair and I went into the city to meet Brad for a photo walk.  Except we really didn’t walk anywhere.   We met at the Duquesne Incline to photograph the city with the super moon rising over the city.  It seems like a waste of time because there were to many clouds.  But all of a sudden, it popped out and we got a brief show.
