On December 22nd, I posted a graffiti picture that combined a Santa, snowman,
and a reindeer. I took that photo
and this one on the same day at the same abandoned industrial plant. I am told it is an old box plant for
one of the glass factories that used to operate in this area. I haven’t really explored this complex
yet, but hope to when the weather warms up.
So for now, we’ll will have to settle for the Santa picture and this smoke stack picture. I took this with my Nikon 14-24mm wide-angle lens on a tripod with a 3-bracket set (+1, 0, -1). I didn’t need a larger bracket set because the lighting was great. I created the HDR image in Photomatix Pro and did some minor editing in Photoshop CS6 afterward. What I like most about this picture is the graffiti at the base of the smoke stack and the clouds in the sky. Have a great week.
